Do you have any testimonials I can read?

Do you remove waste upon completion of work?

If you would like waste removed, an extra charge would apply, unless previously stated on the quote, due to complications with trade waste disposal.

What payment methods do you accept?

We take payment on completion of work via a chip and pin card machine (SumUp), bank transfer or cash unless stated otherwise on your quote.

Do you need a deposit before work begins?

A 30% deposit is required for jobs over £1,000 and is payable upon arrival on the start date.

 

Do you charge VAT on top of your quote?

No. We are currently not VAT registered, so the price we quote is the price you pay.

Is it true that Artex contains Asbestos?

There isn't a straightforward answer to this. If your house was built before 1985, then it is highly likely that it does contain Asbestos. If your house was built between 1985 and 1999, then it shouldn't, as Artex in the UK stopped producing it with Asbestos. However, some stockists and tradesmen may have still been selling/using Asbestos-containing stock. Anything after 2000 should contain zero Asbestos due to its ban in 1999. If you are unsure, I would suggest calling a specialist in to check.

Do you do pre purchase surveys?
No, at this moment in time, we do not undertake pre purchase damp surveys.

do you offer free damp surveys?
No, we do not offer free damp surveys. We charge a fair fee which allows the surveyor time to detect the root cause of the issue. We do not upsell any unnecessary works and only recommend remedial works if there isn’t a DIY fix. Please see our surveys page for more information.

Do you give guarantees on damp work?
Yes, we give 10 year guarantees on all damp remedial works.
